Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi on Friday celebrated businessman Femi Otedola on the latter’s 60th birthday.
Mr Otedola is enjoying timeout with his family aboard Christina O on the Mediterranean Sea. The billionaire shelled out around $3 million for a three-week adventure with his family instead of having a party.
In a Twitter thread, Obi said Otedola has inspired entrepreneurs to work hard and smart, praying that Otedola would enjoy good health and more fruitful years.
“I most heartily felicitate with my friend and brother, @realFemiOtedola, as he marks his 60th birthday.
“As successful business man, Femi has continued to contribute to the growth of the Nigerian economy, contributing to job creation and inspiring more entrepreneurs in the nation to work hard and smart.
“May God Almighty grant him more healthy, and fruitful years to continue contributing positively to the progress of our nation. Happy birthday to you,” said Obi.
Christina O is owned by the late Aristotle Onassis. At age 11, the young Otedola heard about Onassis, the Greek shipping magnate, and adopted him as his role model.
