Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Thursday met with a former governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko.
Mimiko said on Twitter that he was pleased to receive Obi.
The meeting is coming a day after Obi met with the new consul-general of the United States, William Stevens.
Also on Wednesday, Mimiko joined Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike to flag off the dualisation of Azikiwe-Ilaobuchi road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Mimiko was the senatorial candidate of the Zenith Labour Party for Ondo Central District in the 2019 election.
He is the first two-term governor of Ondo and the first Labour Party governor in Nigeria.
