Presidential candidate of the Labour Party Peter Obi on Thursday met again with Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo in Onitsha, Anambra.
The duo met at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity to celebrate Francis Cardinal Arinze on his 90th birthday.
Immediate past governor of Anambra Willie Obiano was also present.
Obi posted photos from the occasion on Twitter. He said, “I joined numerous faithfuls, admirers and well wishers to felicitate with His Eminence Francis Cardinal Arinze as he marked his 90th birthday at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha today. Wishing him continued good health, strength and God’s blessings and Grace.”
This is the second time Obi and Soludo are meeting since the explosive article written by the latter, saying that Obi would not win the presidential election next year.
Obi and Soludo met at the time in Awka at St. Patrick’s Cathedral during a thanksgiving mass in celebration of Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor’s 70th birthday.
