Former vice-presidential candidate Peter Obi has paid a condolence visit to Senator Ben Murray-Bruce over the death of his mother, Margaret.
The matriarch of the Murray-Bruce family died on February 1. She was 95.
In a tweet on Sunday, Murray-Bruce thanked Obi for his visit. “Thank you for visiting our family even as we mourn, H.E @PeterObi, the Okute. My family is very grateful,” he said.
Others who have visited the former Bayelsa East senator since the death of his mother are ex-governor Seriake Dickson, and presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu.
Also on the list are former Ogun State governor Gbenga Daniel and the pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nuhu Ribadu.
