A day after his twin brother, Paul, released two new songs to officially launch his solo career, Peter Okoye on Friday released his second solo track as Mr P after the duo’s latest breakup as P-Square.
The release of Paul’s ‘For My Head’ coincides with the fourth anniversary of his marriage to Lola Omotayo, the lady some choose to blame for the war between the Okoye Brothers.
Looking back at the 13 years they have spent together, the last four of which were as husband and wife, Peter described his wife as amazing while announcing the release of his new song.
Peter and Paul, who thrilled fans for many years as P-Square, have since taken their bitter fight from the social media to their lawyer’s office and finally to the music studio.
Mr P was first off the block with a series of solo performances and the release of a single titled ‘Cool it Down’ in October.
Paul, also known as Rudeboy, initially dismissed his brother’s moves, telling fans to stop tagging him in “beer parlour” performances.
With Peter looking to be grabbing more headlines online and offline, Paul released two songs titled ‘Fire Fire’ and ‘Nkenji Keke’ on Thursday.
The release of ‘For My Head’ and the wedding anniversary once again shifted the discussion towards Peter on Friday.
