Peter Okoye, one half of the singing duo, P-Square, has reacted to reports that telecommunication brand, Globacom, is considering dropping the group as brand ambassadors.
News made the rounds few days ago that Glo will not be renewing P-Square’s deal because of an incident that occurred between Peter Okoye and the company’s representative during the grand finale of Dance with Peter talent hunt show.
Some reports also claim that because of the duo’s recent family controversies, the company is not sure they will remain a group and as such want to halt their contract renewal.
The 34-year-old who has been branded as an artiste with “Twitter fingers” took to the micro blogging site on Thursday evening to respond to the news in a not so subtle manner.
In a series of posts that have now been deleted he wrote, “Some people lied. I will just wait a little more”
“Don’t worry peeps am not gonna rant but a proper press release. Thanks goodnight. Sorry this is not about family matter peeps I have apologized for that already. So no worries.”
Talking directly about the show which has been linked to the controversy, Peter said, “Tell that your inside source to get ready for me. Let’s talk about DANCE WITH PETER. #DWP.
“Don’t take my silence as a weakness. I have respected you guys enough and I have evidence of what went down. Am Waiting! #DWP.”
