Singer Peter Okoye also known as Mr P and formerly one-half of the defunct Psquare duo has shared nostalgic photos of himself and his twin brother, Paul Okoye known as Rudeboy despite their ongoing feud.
The post came as part of a celebration of their 43rd birthday.
Peter took to Instagram to share the throwback pictures on Monday, captioning them, “Happy birthday to us! Stay Winning! #WinningSeason +1.”
The gesture seen by some as an olive branch drew numerous reactions from fans and celebrities alike.
Business mogul Obi Cubana joined the celebration with a comment, “Happy birthday umunne m,” accompanied by love emojis.
Actress Omoni Oboli also chimed in writing, “Happy birthday to our faves.”
Nancy Isime and Nuella Njubigbo extended their wishes by adding, “Happy Birthday 🎉❤️” and “Happy Birthday to you both 🎂😍,” respectively.
Peter’s post comes amid recent tensions between the brothers, with Rudeboy accusing him of stealing a song.
The latest controversy centers around a track titled ‘Winning,’ which Paul claims was meant for his upcoming album.
According to the song’s producer Vampire Craze, the track was created in 2022 when the twins were still collaborating.
These accusations add to a long history of disputes between the siblings whose public fallout led to Psquare’s breakup years ago.
In August, Paul alleged that Peter filed a petition with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against him, but Peter denied the accusation stating the petition was actually against their elder brother Jude Okoye.
