The Instagram account of Emem Ema, manager of pop singer, Peter Okoye, now known as Mr P, has been hacked.
Mr P, 38, revealed this in a post on Instagram on Tuesday.
He warned followers against falling for any suspicious requests from the account.
“Guys pls be careful out there my managers account @vzhun has just been hacked and the hacker is Scamming people! PLD DONT FALL FOR IT❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️,” he said in a post now deleted.
Emem said after recovering the account that she would never recommend any ratchet accounts or deals.
“Sincere apologies folks my account was hacked. I would never recommend any ratchet accounts or deals. Thank you for the calls and all. Now to declutter my DMs,” she wrote.
Emem was a member of the defunct Kush, the music group which also had Toyin Sokefun (now TY Bello), Lara George and Dapo Torimiro.
Kush gained popularity in the early 2000s with the single ‘Let’s Live Together’ and released an album titled The Experience before disbanding.
Mr P appointed Emem manager in 2017.
