Pictures of the pop star Davido’s low-key wedding to Chef Chioma have surfaced on social media.
The pictures came after Davido shared one on social media to celebrate Chioma’s birthday on Sunday, April 30.
Although the ‘Unavailable’ singer, during a recent interview, confirmed that he is now legally married to Chioma, Nigerians were yet to see pictures backing the claim, until the images from the court wedding surfaced online.
Davido, who released the song ‘Assurance’ dedicated to Chioma in 2018, assured her that their love is forever. He said he would always be with the woman he described as his “right hand”.
“Today I just want to celebrate my right hand! My go-to! Happy birthday baby @thechefchi! God bless you. Your love is timeless. It’s a forever thing I ASSURE YOU!” Davido captioned the post.
Many took to the comment section to join in celebrating Chioma.
In the photos, the lovers, adorned in white and beaming with smiles, take their vows at a registry.
Davido took off his glasses to look Chioma in the eye and exchanged marital vows with her.
Davido’s relationship with Chioma initially hit the rocks after it was reported that he had fathered another child with a US-based woman. Chioma was reported to have moved out of the house over the issue. The musician has not confirmed or denied the allegation to this day.
Chioma has been off social media since her son Ifeanyi drowned in a swimming pool at their Banana Island home in Lagos last October.
Her husband also took some time off social media but has since returned and dropped his fourth studio album Timeless.
