After years of courtship, Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon, has finally tied the nuptial knot with his heartthrob, Ibukun Sarah Adenuga.
It was a blissful event at the Civic Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State Tuesday, when the KAA Gent attacker took his marital vows in the presence of family, friends and colleagues.
Present at the event were former international, Tijani Babangida, current Eagles stars, Sylvester Igbonu, Kingsley Madu, Francis Benjamin, Joshua Obaje and team’s media officer, Toyin Ibitoye.
Simon, 20, who has proven to the world that age is just a number when it comes to marriage, expressed his delight to finally see the day come.
“I have longed for this day to come,” the former Trencin man told the Nigeria Football Federation official website.
“I really thank Almighty God who has made this day to come at last.
“It is a thing of joy to finally marry my beloved wife. I’m sure God has a reason he has brought us together.”
Simon has become an integral part of the national team under Sunday Oliseh, scoring thrice in six games under the tactician.
He was nominated for the FIFA Golden Boy award, an accolade designed to recognise the best football youngster in the world.
