Founder of Made Men Music Group (MMMG), Ubi Franklin, on Monday dismissed the betrayal claims brought against him by pop singer, Iyanya.
The 33-year-old music entrepreneur shared photos of the settlement claims between himself and Iyanya via Instagram.
The pictures clearly showed that Iyanya had shares in the Made Men Music Group (MMMG) and sold it to Mr Franklin.
“It’s very unfortunate that A person I took as my brother had to lie to the world to make himself look good.
“Always wait for both sides of the story to call people names. Here is to prove that iyanya Lied to make himself look good.
“Exclusive interview dropping in 1hour. I have never fought anyone I have worked with, dated or married publicly and I swore never to do that.
“We try to settle things in house and if that can’t happen we call on elders to mediate, it has always worked. Thank you 🙏🏾,” he captioned the pictures.
Iyanya alleged that Ubi Franklin betrayed him during their business venture as co-owners of Made Men Music Group, insisting that his name was not put on the deeds for the company.
The singer made this known in an interview with Bolanle Olukanni, the host of Ndani TV’s The Juice.
The 2008 Project Fame winner announced his departure from Ubi Franklin’s Mode Men Music Group (Triple MG) in July 2016.
A lot of controversy trailed his exit from the label which he co-owned with Ubi Franklin.
