The United States Consular-General hosted the nominees of The Future Awards Africa (TFAA) who were unveiled on November 22, 2015 to an invitation-only reception in Lagos, Nigeria.
Anchored by Sika Osei, the event saw performance from ‘Jamb Question’ singer, Simi.
Present at the event were the US Consular-General, John Bray; Lampe Omoyele, Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Chimaobi Nwaokoma, Bovi, Toyin Lawani, VJ Adams, Kaylah, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Lamide Akintobi, Latasha Ngwube, Kathleen Ndongbo, Toni Kan, Chigurl, Uche Nnaji and Lami Philips
The Future Awards Africa (TFAA) 2015 is scheduled to hold on December 6.
According to organisers, this year’s edition “celebrates 10 years of spotlighting individuals across Africa who are impacting and inspiring their community and Africa”.
The award ceremony which has been called the Nobel Prize for Young Africans and the “most important youth awards” by Forbes was founded by the Chude Jideonwo and Adebola Williams.
It has produced over 150 winners and over 1550 nominees since its maiden edition in 2006.
