Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has officially written to Multichoice, the sponsor of the show through the Practitioners of Content Creating, Skit-making, and Influencers Guild (PCCSIGN) on her alleged unreleased winning prizes.
In an open letter addressed to MultiChoice Nigeria, her representatives at PCCSIGN, demanded an urgent resolution for the outstanding debts owed to her.
The letter, posted to Phyna’s official social media accounts, on Monday, highlights the prizes owed by Quidax Global, Seven-Up Bottling Company (Pepsi), Travelbeta, and Evans Industries (Unik Soap), which were promised to her as part of her winnings from the reality TV show held from July 23 to October 22, 2022.
The guild urged Multichoice to help in facilitating “the release of the prizes” from the sponsors.
PCCSIGN added that failure to do so would “reflect poorly on the sponsors” and “undermine the integrity of the show”.
“This is a young woman trying to get what she deserves. I have enough respect for (Multichoice, DSTv, BBNaija) but it is imperative that the sponsors uphold their commitments to winners of the show,” the caption of the post read.
Phyna won the BBNaija season seven edition in October 2022 with the promise of one million naira grand prize and others.
