A truck loaded with Guinness products lost control and crashed by one of the bridges along the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Road, Abuja at about 9.15am on Wednesday.
The truck spilled its content on the road and the shallow stream under the bridge.
No life was lost in the crash, but the driver was seriously injured.
Youths living in villages nearby promptly rushed to help salvage the situation by clearing broken beer bottles off the road.
They also helped themselves as they scrambled for bottles and crates of beer to go home with as reward for their labour.
