Senior Pastor of the Covenant Christian Centre Poju Oyemade on Monday celebrated the first-ever friend he made while he was in kindergarten in 1971.
In an Instagram post, the Lagos-based preacher said his friendship with the man named Funso had remained strong through the years.
“Happy birthday Funso. The first friend I ever had in my life from 1971 in kindergarten as we were placed beside each other,” he wrote.
“Our friendship has remained strong for 49 years. God bless you and all that you set your hand upon.”
Poju heads one of the fastest growing churches in Nigeria.
He is married to media personality Toyin Fajuyigbe.
