The police on Tuesday arraigned four teachers of Chrisland Schools at the Yaba Magistrate Court, Lagos over the sex incident involving some pupils of the school.
The teachers, Oladotun Sotunde, Elesho Tajudeen, Rhoda Olanipekun and Ajiboye Hammed, accompanied some of the pupils to the World School Games in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), where the incident occurred between a female pupil and some males.
They pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace.
Parents of the female pupil accused the school of attempting to cover up the incident and secretly conducting a pregnancy test on the pupil, an allegation the school has denied.
In the wake of the incident and sex tape going viral, Lagos State Government ordered the closure of all of the school’s branches.
It, however, reopened the schools a week later following a review of the administrative investigation into the incident.
