The police in Ekiti have confirmed questioning chef Damilola Adeparusi, better known as Chef Dammy, following a petition filed against her by a cleric, Prophet Adegoke Jeremiah, also known as Billion Dollars Prophet.
Chef Dammy was interrogated by operatives of the Police AIG Zone 17 in Akure, according to a statement released on X on Thursday night.
“A complaint was received by the office of AIG Zone 17 via a written petition against Chef Dammy.
“She was then invited for interrogation which she honoured today as she came with a female staff from the office of Her Excellency, the First Lady of Ekiti State. Dammy was later released to her as the investigation will continue.
“We assure you all that justice will be served without prejudice.”
Chef Dammy is expected to return to the police on Friday for further interrogation, reports The Nation.

The chef opened up last month about her travails with the clergyman.
In a post on Instagram Story, Chef Dammy said the cleric should be held responsible if anything happens to her.
She added that she received countless threats, insults and bullying from her pastor.
The chef said she was ready to spill everything, adding that Adegoke told her to “prepare for war”.
Adegoke is believed to have been the sponsor of Chef Dammy’s 120-hour cook-a-thon back in June following the wave of Guinness World Record attempts inspired by Hilda Baci.
Chef Dammy has not spoken publicly about her invitation by the police.
