The body of singer Mohbad has been exhumed by the Lagos Police for autopsy.
Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesman for the Lagos Police Command, posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday that the exhumation has been completed ahead of an autopsy.
The autopsy is to be carried out to determine the cause of the late singer’s death due to the controversy and conspiracy theories surrounding it.
“Exhumation completed. Autopsy to commence,” he wrote.

The Lagos Commissioner of Police Idowu Owohunwa had earlier set up a 13-man committee to investigate Mohbad’s death.
Mohbad died on September 12 and was buried the day after in the Ikorodu area of Lagos.
