Spokesman of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Olumuyiwa Adejobi has called for more information on the location and identities of women seen in a viral video fighting.
On Tuesday, a video revealing the moment a woman slashed the hand of another woman during a fight surfaced online, drawing outrage from netizens.
In another video, the young woman, whose arm was cut with a knife, is seen lying on the floor in a pool of blood.
The trending videos were posted on X by Obaofph01 with the caption, “Girl mistakenly kills her friend in a fight. Dear women, please mind the kind of friends you keep; the hearts of some girls are darker than the devil’s heart. The smaller the circle, the better.”
Reacting to the videos on Wednesday, Adejobi asked for more information on the women, adding that anger management is important.

“Wow, who are these, and where did this happen? Anger….. I warned against it sometimes. We need to control our anger and temperament,” he wrote.
Netizens on X have since begun to react to the incident, as some advised first-aid measures to be taken in such a situation. In contrast, others condemned the act, stating that the assaulter and witnesses should be arrested.
