The police have questioned Daniel and Val Okafor, sons of ailing actor John Okafor better known as Mr Ibu, and his adopted daughter Jasmine.
Actress Doris Ogala revealed this in an Instagram post on Wednesday night.
Doris said the trio were detained at the Alagbon Police Station in Lagos after Ibu’s wife Stella Maris Okafor allegedly ordered their arrest.
She claimed Stella alleged that Jasmine moved 300 million naira donated for the actor’s surgery from the account.
She wrote: “Jasmine and Ibu’s sons arrested at Alagbon police station, they are detained there.
“Ibu’s wife alleged that Jasmine moved 300 million out of the account. Ibu’s wife allegedly wanted them to buy her a new house from the money contributed so far for Ibu’s treatment, that’s why she arrested Jasmine but the investigation states that the money contributed is not even up to 300 million. Na was o.”
Mr Ibu’s former manager Emeka Chochoo also confirmed that they were invited by the police.
Speaking in a phone chat with Punch on Thursday, Mr Chocoo said they were invited for questioning over Mr Ibu’s account.
“Yes, they were all invited by the police. I won’t call it arrest, the police invited them over Mr Ibu’s account. However, Val is left out as he knows nothing about what’s been happening. He just returned to the country.
“I have not been able to reach any of them,” Chochoo said.

Mr Ibu’s health struggles made the news in October when a video of the actor soliciting for help was released on his official page.
The movie star celebrated his 63rd birthday in an undisclosed hospital in Lagos on Tuesday, October 17.
He revealed in a video posted on Instagram on a Wednesday that he needed financial support so his leg would not be amputated.
His leg was, however, cut off in November.
