A man has been reported dead in Surulere area of Lagos after being hit by a stray bullet during the #EndSARS protest.
Policemen opened fire on Monday in a bid to disperse the protesters who were increasing in number.
Another person is reported to have been shot, though the police are yet to confirm the incident.
Videos showing sporadic shootings and protesters scampering for safety have emerged on social media.
The protesters who are calling for an end to police brutality had earlier blocked the entrances of the Murtala Muhammed Airport and National Stadium, Surulere.
They also blocked the Murtala Muhammed Access Plaza.
