Spokesman of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Muyiwa Adejobi has revealed his Muslim name is Idris.
Adejobi stated this in a tweet on Sunday, asking the public to respect his belief.
“For those who do not know, my Muslim name is Idris. So, respect my belief. Ire oo,” he wrote.
Adejobi explained in another tweet when asked to respect other people’s religion that he actually belongs to all religions as a prince.
“As a prince, I belong to all religions, so I was taught in the palace. I am an Anglican, I can even recite Quran to an extent, and I know that Eledumare can do wonders. Lobatan. In other words, I am a Tradochrislam. Lol. Ire oo,” he wrote.
The NPF website describes Adejobi as “an epitome of princehood, cultural dynamism, moral values and African traditional evangelism, who thrives to uphold equity, justice and fairness in all areas of life.”
His hobbies include driving, singing, tourism and playing lawn tennis. He is married to Olori Olukemi Adejobi, a deputy superintendent of police.
