Singer, Timi Dakolo, and wife his, Busola Dakolo, have been summoned to Abuja by the police over rape allegations made against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA.
The 38-year-old singer disclosed this in a post on Instagram on Saturday.
In separate invitation letters dated Thursday, July 18, the police say they are investigating a case of criminal conspiracy, falsehood and mischief.
Timi Dakolo, however, insisted that his family will not be bullied.
He accused Fatoyinbo of bribing investigating officials to delay summons. Paying bloggers to fabricate untruth and engineering the transfer of the case to Abuja.
Timi had raised an alarm over the presence of unidentified “strange men” at his Lagos home earlier on Saturday.
A picture he posted on Instagram showed that the men allegedly came in a van with number plate BR932KSF.
After their exit, he shared a video to confirm the safety of himself and his family.
Busola Dakolo had last month alleged that Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) raped her as a teenager in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Fatoyinbo was forced to step down from publicly overseeing COZA because of the allegations against him.
