Singer, Naira Marley, actress, Eniola Badmus, and other guests at the birthday party hosted by Funke Akindele and her husband, JJC Skillz, have been advised to appear before the Lagos State Police Command for violating the lockdown imposed to tackle coronavirus.
Funke was arrested on Sunday for hosting the party while JJC Skillz, in whose honour the party was organised, is also listed as one of the persons to report at the Command.
This was contained in a statement by spokesman of the Lagos Police Command, Bala Elkana, on Sunday.
Parts of the statement reads: “Efforts are intensified to arrest the remaining persons in the video, among whom are Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley and Abdul Rasheed Bello a.k.a. JJC Skillz.
“They are in their best interests urged to report at the State CID Yaba on Monday 6th April, 2020 or risk being declared wanted.”
Funke had earlier apologised for hosting the party.
In a video she posted on Instagram, the Jenifa actress explained that most of the guests at the party were staff of her production company who had decided to stay with her after government put Lagos on lockdown to curb the coronavirus.
