Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has expressed his disappointment following an encounter with the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In a viral video shared on X, Portable, known for his outspoken and controversial nature, lamented that despite meeting with Obi, he did not receive any monetary support.
Speaking in Yoruba, Portable remarked, “Obi cannot give us anything. Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu we met, he would have given us something. Let’s go.”
The encounter took place in Benin, Edo State, where the two briefly exchanged pleasantries. While Obi was in town to support the Labour Party’s gubernatorial candidate, Olumide Akpata, Portable was in Benin for a show.
