Controversial singer Habeeb Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has linked up with Afrobeat star Davido in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
The ‘Zazoo’ hit maker, currently on a seven-day tour in the United States, joined the DMW boss for dinner at a local restaurant.
This meeting followed Portable’s Instagram livestream in the early hours of Thursday, June 6, during which Davido briefly joined.
Portable, overwhelmed with joy, expressed his admiration for Davido, saying, “I’ve seen you, I’ve seen God.”
Davido, smiling humbly, promised to take Portable out later in the day. Portable excitedly registered his gratitude to the ‘Assurance’ singer.
Early on Friday, June 7, Portable shared photos and videos of their outing on Instagram.
He praised Davido for gifting him a luxurious pair of Dior sneakers. His post, captioned “Akoi Grace @davido Don bless me who go help you no go stress you,” has garnered over 5,000 comments as of the time of filing this report.
Portable, who is always in the news for controversial reasons, was recently seen with Tiwa Savage during one of his live streams while he was calling out social media influencer Saida Boj.
With excitement, he received Tiwa, calling her ‘Mama,’ ‘Ogbanje’ among others. He stated that she inspired his new single titled ‘Ogbanje’. Portable also described her as more beautiful than global superstars Rihanna and Nicki Minaj.
The ‘Am Not A Prisoner’ singer eventually made another video calling out Saida Boj who controversially stated she would allow any man who gives her N20 million to explore her body.
Portable condemned her remarks, warning her not to “mislead ladies” with such statements.
