Music artiste Portable has vowed to perform alongside Fuji Pasuma at the Celestial Church of Christ: Land of Goshen Cathedral praise night despite being disinvited to perform at the event.
There was uproar on social media on Wednesday when an event flyer that revealed that Fuji singer Pasuma and Portable would perform at the church’s praise night in Lagos went viral.
Several Nigerians took to social media to condemn the invitation of the secular music artistes to a religious activity.
Reacting to the poster on his Facebook page on Wednesday, the Shepherd-in-charge of the Celestial Church of Christ International Headquarters, Ketu, Olatosho Oshoffa revealed that he had spoken to the cleric in charge of the parish, adding that the said artistes would no longer grace the occasion.
Sharing the poster on his Facebook page, he wrote, “Dear Celestians, I have just spoken to the Shepherd in Charge of the above Parish at length. He has promised to make amendments to the posters.
“He has promised that the said contested artists would NOT come for the Nights. There is No doubt the said poster is very CONDEMNABLE. God bless CCC. Amen.”
Reacting in a recent video shared via Instagram, Portable who claimed the church paid him five million naira insisted that he must perform with Pasuma at the event despite the cancellation.

The Zazu star who spoke in Yoruba added that he should not be judged by his looks.
“Don’t use my looks to judge me,” Portable said.
