Prayers have been pouring in for Bisola Oladapo, a cancer patient who is said to be a student of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
News of Ms Bisola battling cancer and requiring urgent medical attention gained public attention on social media on Monday after FUNAAB students embarked on an awareness campaign to raise funds for her surgery.
The campaigners said Bisola needed N15 million for surgery. They, however, did not say the kind of cancer she was suffering from.
They also called on Polaris bank to intervene in the matter. It turned out Bisola was an account holder in Polaris bank.
As at Tuesday morning, the campaigners say they have generated over N20 million, more than the required amount for the surgery.
Nigerians have now offered prayers for Bisola who is expected to go under the knife soonest.
