US-based woman Anita Brown has said that her alleged pregnancy for pop star Davido was not the result of a “one night stand.”

Ms Brown had earlier claimed her social media handle was hacked.

But, in a sudden turn of events on Tuesday night, she said via Instagram Story that Davido impregnated her and that they had known each other for a long time.

She said: “Never in my life have I ever needed clout. I’ve been popular all my life from preschool & on. I’ve never had to expose nobody famous, y’all never even heard my business in relation to any of those kinds of categories because it’s unnecessary for me.

“But what is now necessary for me is to speak up for myself cause I won’t let people throw dirt on my name, lie, or play with my integrity or name.”

Brown added in another post, “We met in Dubai in 2017 let’s be clear! This is not no one night. Don’t ever play with me name.”

Davido tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Chioma Rowland in January 2023. Their marriage came barely months after the loss of their son Ifeanyi who drowned in the family pool in their Banana Island home.
