Prince Kpokpogri ex-lover of Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has denied that he was arrested by the police over an altercation with the actress.
Kpokpogri was reportedly arrested in Abuja following an alleged altercation with his ex-lover over ownership of an SUV.
According to reports, the estranged lovers were summoned to the police force CID headquarters on Monday, while at the police station, Tonto was allowed to go home but Kpokpogri was allegedly detained.
The self-acclaimed activist, however, denied that he was arrested in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
“I’ve been in my house since yesterday when all these things were happening but I don’t want to join issues with anybody and I don’t want to comment. I Just deem it fit to greet all our Muslim brothers that are celebrating today if not I wouldn’t even be online.
“Whatever rumour that is going on I don’t care. Just disregard all those information, nothing is true about them,” he said.
In the petition Tonto wrote against Kpokpogri, she claimed that the SUV belongs to her and she wanted it returned, however, Kpokpogri countered the claims saying that he owns the SUV. The duo has been battling for ownership since then.
