Comedienne Damilola Adekoya alias Princess has taken to Instagram to rain curses on actress Idowu Philips, better known as Mama Rainbow and her colleague Yomi Fabiyi following Baba Ijesha’s conviction.
An Ikeja Special Offences Court on Thursday, July 14 found Baba Ijesha born Olanrewaju James guilty of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
The minor is the foster daughter of Princess.
Baba Ijesha was found guilty of charges 2, 3, 4 and 5 but discharged and acquitted of charges 1 and 6.
Shortly after the court’s verdict, Princess went live on Instagram to call out Mama Rainbow, Fabiyi and others who drummed support for Baba Ijesha during the sexual assault saga.
Speaking in the Yoruba language, the comedienne rained curses on them. She accused Mama Rainbow of stigmatisation and bullying her and her children.
“Idowu Philips I’m calling you out. Do you even know how many people these guy molested? They were in court. Some of those victims. I’ve lost all hope, one of them was almost suicidal. You think coming online and bullying people ends there? No it doesn’t. It doesn’t end there. These are survivors molested by and you people cover up for them. Yomi Fabiyi, you disgraced the survivors in the presence of all the people. That is the judgement of court, the judgement of God has already started. All of you will never know peace,” she said in parts.
During trial, Baba Ijesha told the court that Princess was his former lover and that his romance with her foster daughter was scripted.
