Racine and Ruth Bousso, former senior members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), have sent a message to the church’s leader Pastor Evelyn Joshua on the first anniversary of her husband Prophet TB Joshua’s death
The couple’s message is contained in a video posted on their YouTube channel on Saturday, June 4.
Prophet Racine, as he was known in his SCOAN days, was one of the five wise men mentored by Joshua.
He was last seen in the church in January after helping Joshua’s widow Pastor Evelyn Joshua stabilize the megachurch after a succession crisis.
His wife had left along with her brother Christopher Tonge and other senior members in September 2021 after Evelyn became the new leader of SCOAN.
The two got married in the UK on February 14, 2022.
Speaking on behalf of the couple, Racine said in the video on their YouTube channel “To Mummy Evelyn Joshua, Ruth and I want to thank you for your love and support. It has been a long journey. All those years ago, your home became our home.
“You opened your home for us – you became a mother of nations. For your strength, grace and dignity – we always have and always will appreciate you.
“To Serah, Promise and Heart, thank you for sharing your dad with us.
Racine and Ruth were absent at the memorial service held for Joshua at SCOAN’s headquarters on Sunday, June 5.
Joshua’s four other wise men John Chi, Daniel, Christopher and Harry, were, however, present.
