Protesters have stormed Shoprite outlet at Novare Gateway, Lugbe, Abuja to express their displeasure over xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africans.
Since reports of the attacks in South Africa broke, Nigerians have stormed the premises of several businesses of South African origin such as Shoprite and MTN in Ibadan, Lagos, and a few other locations.

Protesters, however, stormed Shoprite Lugbe outlet on Wednesday.
An MTN office in the area is also said to have come under attack.
According to reports, the protesters have resorted to burning tyres after a clampdown by security operatives.
Police have also heightened security at Jabi Mall in Abuja which houses a Shoprite outlet.
MTN and Shoprite have condemned the xenophobic attacks in South Africa and called for peace and harmony.
The latest attacks in South Africa began last week after a taxi driver was murdered by an alleged drug dealer in Pretoria.

Speculations that the alleged killer was a Nigerian sparked protest, looting and burning of business centres owned by foreigners.
Three persons were reported to have been killed in a fire started by a mob on an abandoned building in the Jeppestown area of Johannesburg.
