A group of protesters have blocked the convoy of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo along Umaru Musa Yar’Adua expressway in Abuja on Tuesday morning.
Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu Akande, said on Twitter Tuesday morning.
Osinbajo was on his way to the airport when his convoy met a barricade at Goza village.
The villagers are protesting alleged invasion of their land by the military.
The Vice President was forced to alight from his car to address them as appeal from his security aides failed to appease the protesters.
