Super Eagles skipper, Mikel Obi, is obviously relishing his fatherhood status.
Time and time again, the Tianjin TEDA star has taken to Instagram to showcase his beautiful twin daughters, Mia and Ava; he has with Russian girlfriend, Olga Diyachenko.
But on this occasion, Mikel flaunted just one, who according to him was “pretending to be two years old already”.
Mikel’s kids will clock two around August but it appears they can’t just wait for that to happen.
The midfielder’s family has been his solace after failing to hit the ground running in China.
Since Mikel moved to the Asian nation, he has been plagued by several degrees of injuries, limiting him to just three appearances.
But the Nigerian is nearing full match fitness as revealed by his Instagram posts.
His return should serve as good news for both club and country.
Without their inspirational skipper, TEDA has managed just three victories from 15 games.
The Super Eagles were also torn apart by South Africa in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier last month.
