Edo State Government has declared Friday, November 7 a public holiday in the state.
A statement signed by Chief Press Secretary to Governor Adams Oshiomhole, Peter Okhiria, on Thursday said the Public holiday is to enable registered voters the opportunity to collect the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) which distribution will hold from Friday November 7 to Sunday November 9 according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) time-table.
The government advised registered voters in the state to avail themselves of the opportunity and collect the Permanent Voter’s Card within the three-day period.
