Queen Naomi visits triplets born free of charge by C-section in Ondo

Queen Naomi Silekunola

Queen Naomi Silekunola, the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has paid a visit to Sckyé Hospital Ltd in Akure, Ondo State capital where she met new mothers.

The visit was not her first to the hospital as she said in a recent Instagram post. Silekunola, who now refers to herself as the queen of the people, noted that she was moved to visit the hospital again on hearing the delivery of a set of triplets for free by Caesarean section.

“Last weekend I visited Sckyé Hospital Ltd in Akure Ondo state. On this visit I gave gift items to newly delivered mothers, and equally gave my support to a woman delivered of a set of triplets.

“The triplets were delivered by Caesarean section a week ago for free in the hospital,” her post read.

Silekunola, who recently held what she called annual redemption prayer, said she was thankful to the management of the hospital for rendering free antenatal services to pregnant women since 2004.

According to her, the hospital has also been rendering free blood and urine tests, free drugs, free ultrasound scan, free vaginal delivery and free Caesarean sections for higher order multiple gestation which extends to free baby incubation services, free baby food and free triplet colts.

Silekunola posed for pictures with some of the new mothers who received gifts from her.

“On my first visit to the hospital I made a promise to constantly support them on the platform of my NGO Women In Need of Guidance and Support (WINGS) It was in fulfilment of this promise that I visited again upon hearing the news of the birth of the OBODOZIE triplets,” she added.
