Actress Rachael Okonkwo has remembered her late mum on All Souls’ Day.
All Souls’ Day also known as the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed and the Day of the Dead is a day of prayer and remembrance for the faithfully departed, which is observed by Roman Catholics and other Christian denominations annually on November 2.
In an Instagram story on Tuesday, the actress shared a video of her late mum with the caption: “Continue to rest in peace, my stainless mum.”
The 33-year-old announced the death of her mum in July 2020 on Instagram, although she did not reveal the cause of death.
“My world is shattered. My life is crumbled. RIP mama NKOLI. Where do I start from?” she asked with crying emojis
In another Instagram post, the actress shared the picture of a burning candle with the caption, “My life will never remain the same.”
Mrs Okonkwo (nee Emehelu) was buried in September 2020.
