The remains of veteran actress Rachel Oniga has been laid to rest at a private cemetery in Lagos after a service of songs was held on Thursday in her honour.
Celebrities, friends and family of the late actress gathered on Friday at the Catholic Church of Resurrection, Magodo Phase 2, Lagos to pay their last respect. Nollywood actress Hilda Dokubo was also present at the funeral.
The reception of guests which was held at the Grandeur Events Centre, Oregun, Lagos, had in attendance, celebrities like Clarion Chukwura, Hilda Dokubo, Gloria Anozie-Young and Charles Inojie.
The burial arrangement started with a symposium in her honour on Monday, August 23 at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alausa Ikeja, Lagos, which had her colleagues, Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw, Gloria Anozie-young and Blessing Asibe in attendance.
Rachel Oniga died on Friday, July 30. She was aged 64.
