Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola has paid tribute to the late Rachel Oniga, recollecting that the deceased played her mum in her first two movies.
The 51-year-old stated this in an Instagram post on Monday.
“My first 2 jobs she played my mom and made the experience easy with her smile and her warm heart. Rachel Oniga RIP. We will miss you,” she wrote.
Bimbo made her movie debut with Owo Blow in 1995 alongside Rachel Oniga where they played daughter and mother respectively while Out of Bounds followed suit in 1997.
Rachel died on Saturday, July 31 after battling with a heart-related ailment.
She was aged 64.
