The Flying Antelopes endured a frustrating campaign culminating in a 13th-place finish last term, one year after they shook the odds to clinch their first league title in 32 years.
As a result of their abysmal run the last term, Imama Amapakabo was axed and replaced by Sylvanus Okpala who didn’t do much to save the already sinking ship at the Cathedral.
Now it appears the management of the Coal City team are leaving no stone unturned as they aim to compete for the title next term with the appointment of Ogunbote.
Ogunbote has been at Enyimba for the past two seasons, guiding the People’s Elephants to third position the last campaign.
He previously handled Sunshine Stars, Giwa FC and Shooting Stars.
