Rapper Skales has buried his mother.
The ‘Must Shine’ star posted photos from the burial ceremony via Instagram on Saturday.
Although the location of the burial ceremony was not revealed in the post, Skales who hails from Edo State promised to make his mum proud.
“MY QUEEN AND ONE TRUE LOVE TO REST YESTERDAY.. REST IN PEACE MAMA JOHN…I WILL MAKE YOU PROUD LOVE YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEART,” he captioned the photos.
Fellow celebrities like Paul Okoye, AY Comedian, Teni, Padita Agu, Jackie Bent, Darey Alade and Linda Osifo consoled him in the comment section of the post.
In June 2019, Skales revealed that his late mother was a victim of sexual abuse and molestation by his father.
“My mum was abused and molested by my dad but she still held it down for that madafaking nigga!!! Cz of me but that idiot still dipped with another woman and I refused to go with him stayed with my mum guess wat I was only 5yrs old but witnessed all that …she never spoke up,” he tweeted.
Born Raoul John Njeng-Njeng in Kaduna State, the 31-year-old Edo indigene adopted the stage name Skales which is an acronym for ‘Seek Knowledge Acquire Large Entrepreneurial Skills’.
