Rapper, Zoro, has petitioned the police over a claim by an Instagram user with username @mystic_sweetness, who accused him of raping her in 2015.
The 30-year-old whose real name is Owoh Chrismathner, had denied the allegation in a post he shared on Saturday, shared a copy of the petition on the same platform on Wednesday.
“Dear Fans, Further to my last post, my team (legal and management) and I have reported the rape allegation leveled against me to the Nigeria Police.
“I want to implore you my fans, friends and family to kindly disbelieve any lies from the unscrupulous lady while the Police continue their investigation…,” he wrote,
Media personality, Uti Nwachukwu, on Saturday submitted a similar petition to the police after a woman shared a post on social media claiming that he raped her in August 2017.
Uti announced on Monday that his accuser, with username, @Kambilikorie, has since deleted her social media accounts.
