Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West senatorial district at the National Assembly, has reacted with a heart full of sorrow to the death of reggae icon, Ras Kimono.
The 60-year-old Kimono passed on at Lagoon Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos after an aborted trip to the US.
Among those who promptly reacted to the death was Melaye, who contracted Kimono, Majek Fashek and Orits Wiliki to play at his New Year party held in January.
“Death why! Why! My brother and my friend. Legend Ras Kimono rest in Peace. What a black day! What an unceremonious exit. I love you and will miss you. Sad sad sad,” Melaye lamented in a Twitter post.
