Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland Oba Kehinde Olugbenle on Friday clocked 54.
Oba Olugbenle ascended the throne on April 14, 2012.
Celebrating him on Twitter, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun wrote: “Happy Birthday, Kabiyesi Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle (Aṣáde Agùnloyè IV), Olu Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewa Land.
“I ask for God’s love and unceasing blessings for you on this special day, as you celebrate the start of another glorious year. Igba ọdún…ọdún kan ni.”
Oba Olugbenle was selected as the Paramount Ruler of Yewaland by the administration of Ibikunle Amosun, exactly four years after the demise of Oba Samuel Adekanmbi Tella II who ascended the throne in 1976.
The monarch is also a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
