Nigerian tweeps have gone wild after Barcelona Femeni tweeted ‘Agba baller’ following an impressive performance by skipper Asisat Oshoala on Wednesday night.
Oshoala scored two goals and assisted two in the UEFA Women’s Champions League as Barcelona decimated Benfica 9-0.
The Nigerian’s 34th minute strike from outside the box has got everyone talking on social media.
It was the first time Barcelona Femeni took to the field after its stars, most notably Alexia Putellas, shone at the Ballon d’Or gala on Monday night in Paris. Oshoala was ranked 16th best player in women’s football at the award night.
The “Agba baller” tweet on Thursday by Barcelona which means ‘Biggest baller’ has got interesting reactions from Nigerians.
