Comedian Anita Asuoha, better known as Real Warri Pikin, has thanked the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) for her appointment as special adviser on gender equality.
The 32-year-old posted her thank you message on Instagram on Wednesday.
“It is a dawn of something new and it is a great honor that I’ve been Appointed by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) as SA on Gender Equality.
“This presents an opportunity to make a difference and do things differently.
“A special Thanks to @actorsguildofnigeria for the appointment and opportunity to serve in the great Nollywood,” she wrote.
The AGN under the leadership of Emeka Rollas announced a number of appointments earlier in the week.
Other actors who got appointments include Ufuoma McDermott, Grace Ama, Tobi Bakre, Deyemi Okanlawon, Nancy Isime, Ronnie Dikko, Uche Elendu, Gideon Okeke, Alexx Akubo, Carolyn Danjuma, Alex Okoroji, Steve Eboh and Charles Inojie.
