Big Brother Naija reality stars Rebecca Nengi, Hermes, Groovy, Eloswag and season seven winner Phyna has joined others in prayers for their colleague who was involved in a ghastly accident.
Fellow reality star Alex Unusual disclosed the sad news in a Twitter post on Tuesday, calling for prayers.
“Good morning sweethearts. Please put @iamricoswavey in your prayers today. He was involved in a ghastly accident hours ago and the doctors are still trying to resuscitate him as I just left the hospital. It’s really critical. I’m staying positive,” Alex tweeted.
Following the tragic news, other BBNaija stars also called for prayers for the 29-year-old.
Rebecca Nengi wrote: “Lord Jesus, we come before you to ask for your healing hand upon your son @iamricoswavey .. By the power of the resurrection of Christ, I decree that your health is restored in Jesus Name. Amen.”
Level Up edition winner, Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, wrote: “Prayers for Rico Swavey! May your recovery be swift and complete. God take control.”
Season seven housemate Groovy wrote: “What happened to Rico is disheartening. I wish him a sound recovery! Please if you see this say a prayer for Rico Swavey.”
Another season seven housemate Chibueze Iyele, better known as Hermes, also prayed for quick recovery.
Hermes wrote: “@iamricoswavey You are a fighter. May God give you all the strength you need to recover soon.”
Actress Juliet Ibrahim prayed for God’s protection. She wrote: “Oh No! God please protect and send your guardian angels to be with him and see him through this difficult time.”
Born Patrick Fakoya, Rico Swavey contested in the third edition of the reality show in 2018.
The Babcock University graduate is also a lawyer and an actor.
