Singers Wizkid and Reekado Banks appear to have put their past differences aside after being spotted dining together at a Lagos restaurant.
In videos circulating on Tuesday, the two were seen enjoying a meal alongside rapper Shallipopi, further fueling speculation that they have reconciled.
The reunion comes after Wizkid visited Reekado Banks’ newly opened lounge, Above Lifestyle, in Lagos.
Reekado welcomed Wizkid at the entrance, and the Ozumba Mbadiwe singer embraced the Starboy in a warm gesture.
Wizkid was also captured exploring the venue before sitting down for a drink with Reekado.
Their fallout dates back to 2020 when Wizkid called Reekado a “clout animal” on X (formerly Twitter) after the latter attempted to promote their collaboration amid the EndSARS protests.
Wizkid criticised the timing and the song was eventually released without his verse.
Years later, the duo now seem to be on good terms again.
Fans are hopeful their reconciliation could lead to the revival of their scrapped collaboration.
Wizkid has been spending time in Nigeria since December 2024, performing at several shows following the release of his sixth album, Morayo, which was dedicated to his late mother.
The Grammy winner is also preparing for his Morayo tour, with the first dates already announced.
