Actress Regina Daniels has celebrated Laila Charani, Moroccan wife of her husband Ned Nwoko on her birthday.
Ned, who threw a party for the woman, posted pictures of himself and Laila on Instagram on Monday to celebrate her new age.
“Happy birthday to my dear Laila. It has been a year of peace, love and support for me and the family and we are all grateful. There is no doubt that age comes with wisdom and you are a clear testament of that. We love you @mnslailacharani,” he captioned the photos.
Reacting in the comment section of the post, Regina wished Laila a happy birthday saying, “Happy birthday Laila.”
The 21-year-old also shared videos from Laila’s birthday party which had other family members including Regina and Lailai’s children in attendance to celebrate her.
In one of the videos, Regina and her co-wife could be seen all smiles as they hugged each other.
“At Laila’s birthday dinner. Happy birthday gorgeous,” she captioned the video.
Other highlights of the party include Laila entertaining her guests with her piano skills, cutting the birthday cake with Regina, her husband and their children, and the women joining the popular ‘I’m not the celebrant’ challenge which Regina participated in, addressing Laila as her co-wife and friend.
Laila also reposted Regina’s birthday message and thanked the actress for celebrating her.
It would appear that this is the first time the family is coming together to celebrate Laila’s birthday since she and her husband reconciled.
Laila announced her separation from Nwoko on November 1, 2021 weeks after she unfollowed her politician husband and Regina Daniels on Instagram.
Confirming their separation in an Instagram post a month after, Nwoko accused Laila of infidelity, child abandonment, and domestic abuse.
Laila claimed in a February 2022 Instagram post that her relationship with Nwoko changed after he married Regina Daniels.
According to the Moroccan, Nwoko shifted all attention to the actress and her son and only showed love to her (Laila) and her children on social media.
Things took a dramatic turn in September when she publicly apologised to Nwoko and his family.
